I posted pics of the install I did in a 2011 KIA SOUL. It's of a single Pyle 2000 watt 2 ohm per voice coil 12 DVC with a single SSL 2500 watt mono block amp @4 Ohms for power. You can find the pics under the name of the sub and amp listed. The set up sounds great. But I still think it needs to be broken in for awhile because the surround and spider are so huge, not to mention the motor structure "NICE." Boy I think four of these with two of the SSL 2500 watt amps running @2 ohms in 2 Cubes sealed per sub would be sick. "Gosh I want to try." Hope some else out there will do it and report back. So for sure with that kind of set up I would use the DB 0 gauge wire kit maybe even two and a high powered alternator with a few batteries for good measure and a battery isolator to keep it from your stock stuff would help. I have beat JL audio systems, Kicker systems, and many others. Its not the kind of speakers you get, its your ability to understand sound and pressure and placement...remember that grasshopper. The sub has hit 98+ db spl several times, on all sorts of music genres. If your looking too annoy the cops and other drivers this is exactly what your looking for! Just don't expect to be able to use your mirrors. Trust me, they'll shake too much. lol PYLE FTW!!! |
