But I figured if I had lived with 10 inch Radio Shack Optimus woofers, hey, I must be easy to please... Yea, they needed to be shallow, they went into the side of our minivan. Depth was ok, but there was a fair amount of modifying to be done on the driver's side. The fuel fill and the track for the slider door makes it rather tight there. the passenger side has plenty of space for only slight modifying. I used plenty sound deadener, some foam, and they fit just fine... As far as the power, I hooked the to my old amp, (yea laugh, a Rad Shack Optimus 400 Amp) It seems to work fine, although these would probably sound better with more power. The one complaint I had was on one of the subs, there was a lot of ... something that had run through the backside of the surround, like hardened rubber, or soft plastic, that had connected to the basket/ magnet area.
