| 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Pioneer may not hit the hardest but it lasts forever., By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Pioneer TS-SW2501S2 10-Inch Shallow Subwoofer with 1200 Watts Max Power (Electronics) I ran a 200W RMS 10" Pioneer in my old car for five years and it's still going so when I bought a sub box for my 2007 VW GTI that fit under the trunk mat I was forced to go with a shallow mount sub and was happy to go Pioneer again on my purchase. The subwoofer itself is built very solid with a metal screen on the back so it can breathe freely but have the voice coils protected from most elements. I hooked it up to a 450W 2ohm RMW Alpine Amp and this thing absolutely shakes the car even with the gain set on about 60% of max.
