Fits nicely in the back and still leaves a good amount of room for groceries or whatever.At 75% volume it puts out enough bass to shake my mirrors. I have the cross over somewhere around 80-90 as it should be and the bass is really tight and clean. I listen to every type of music, so the included level controller works well to adjust bass between styles. I would recommend this for anyone with a jeep or truck that is looking for some bump. This is just about as loud as a sealed 10 inch Audiobahn + 300 watt Pioneer amp system I used to have in my dodge ram. I was ok with this as all I wanted was a little more bottom end from my system. The output of this amp is not much to be desired, however. It is hardly noticeable while on the road. It helps that I can fold my rear seat down at times, but that just doesn't seem like a good solution for getting better sound. This was a great buy, you would not be able to find a sub and amp of this quality for the price anywhere, and you would have to pay almost double. I am a huge fan of MTX and stand behind their products; I have only had this running for a week so hopefully the quality is solid. The only small problem I see with this product was the connection type, instead of a normal terminal block it has a 3 prong Molex connector that is pre-wired so you do not have much flexibility. The main reason I left this review is because at the time it's the only one so to let others know it's a solid product. |
