Free shipping at that. I wired this sub to a 4ohm load hooked it to a Boss SE 3500D mono block. At 75% gain this sub wants more. It is so loud as is. The bass is clear and crisp. Bass lines are long and strong. This sub is definitely one of the best I ever heard, and the best for the price. If you're in doubt check it out on you tube. I installed it with too little time and not enough light, when I realized it wasn't working I went crazy troubleshooting the system. After sever short sessions over a two week period I finally took out the 40 or so screws to look inside the enclosure as a last resort and discovered that I had managed to incorrectly link the Dual Voice Coils, I swapped the wires and this sucker started banging like a champ. The moral - Pay attention to the supplied wiring diagrams, and don't forget a flashlight if you are installing this in a dark corner!Running off a 700 watt PA amp this thing has no problem shaking the walls of a 200+ seat room. Installed in a vented enclosure response is a touch sloppy at high volume but that was expected with speaker this large, it is fairly inconsequential because the volume way too loud for a normal person to be in the 75'x 110' room by the time it gets sloppy...
