You need to read it if your interested in this product though. :-)I drive from a wheelchair and so I need a van to get around. I listen to mostly rock music and had a nice Pioneer subwoofer in a custom made box I bought from Circuit City about 14 years ago. (it was made for someone else and they decided they didn't want it, so I got a deal on it) Anyway, my old van was fullsize and when I bought a new minivan, the custom box was too big to fit behind the rear seat. I also forgot to get my old amp out of my old van, but it was pretty cheap, so I didn't really care. I decided to look for an inexpensive subwoofer and amp to go in my new minivan and bought this MTX package. I had it installed and I was really disappointed. This product may not be the BEST product on the market, but it is a great subwoofer. When I bought the package, it was advertised as a 250W amplifier so I was not expecting that much. When I got the package in the mail I noticed that the amplifier was actually 200W. But no worries, this thing BUMPS. It sounded a little shaddy at first, but that was because it was matched with some factory speakers on a 18 year old Acura Integra. Once I got some Polk 6"s installed, its like a movie theatre. So crisp and clean, deep bass which is amazing. If you Only have $200.00 to spend of a subwoofer and Amplifer, this is the one you will get the most kick out of. I installed it myself and I was AMAZED on how good it sounds! For 200 watts, it makes your skin vibrate and will make your rear view mirror shake like crazy (if you have a smaller vehicle) I think this package would have a lot more power if I would have bought a better amp install kit, the one that I got sucked, but it does the job for someone not looking to spend more than a couple hundred bucks. It took me about an hour and a half to install, this sub slams! I would highly recommend not mounting the amp to the sub enclsore itself. The amp does get hot! So put the amp in a place where it can breath. Great sub, I got it for 125 bucks with free shipping. I am %100 satisfied with this product! :) |
