The amps are great, when they both work. Originally I had 1 amp that I purchased in February connected to 2 Pioneer Subs. After my last car show/audio competition in July, I decided to upgrade my system. I purchased a second SSL EV3000D amp, 2 new 10" Boss Audio P10DVC 4 ohm subs, a ported box, a 10 farad SSL capacitor, a new SSL head unit, 0 gauge wiring kit, and a distribution block. Once everything was in the car and connected, I experimented with strapping and non-strapping. This is where I noticed my first problem. The amp I purchased in Feb. worked for about a week with the new setup. I had the amps strapped together and had the Feb. purchase as the main amp. I noticed a nice pulsating sound emanating from my subs and quickly disconnected the amp. Unfortunately it took one of the new subs with it.
