Currently have a Boston Acoustics GTA-400M pushing 2 of these (wired parallel for a 2 ohm load - 200 watts RMS to each speaker) in a dual sealed box and they hit extremely hard and tight. The company stands by their products, and has made a very good entry level sub.These subs replaced a single DVC 12" Bazooka I'd had for almost 2 months before it unexpectedly popped. It's unbelievable how much harder these hit. Seems to be about 3 times as loud and the crispness is immeasurable. Response is very clean and woofer travel is very commendable. Don't be scared off by the paper/wool woofer or foam surround...these are still built to withstand extreme levels of use. I picked a pair up in an enclosure for an unprecedented price, and after having heard them, I'd gladly plink down what many online retailers are asking without a second... Read more |
