Really goes well with the 3.5" matching infinity's I put in the dash of my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Amazon said they both fit. Haha. They fit with some modification. The 6 1/2" speakers were actually a smaller diameter than my factory so I had to fabricate a bracket to mount. But as far as the actual speaker goes. Nothing to say that hasn't been said already. Great sound, The highs, my oh my. I have rockford prime 6x9 I got on amazon in the front doors and they are not noticible anymore. The infinity fill my Jeep with good sound. I had to put my ear up to the rockfords to see if they were still even working. Will eventually replace with infinity 6x9's or even these same speakers. Dont think I will ever be done with my system. lolOh forgot to mention the speaker grills. NICE. Didnt use them but, they were nice. I did pull the little infinity logo of of em' and they snapped right on the factory grills on my Jeep (put a little super glue just to be safe). So now... I hate when people post negative reviews on product because they don't understand it or they are ignorant. Sometimes ignorance is bliss, but don't make your self sound like idiots. I have these in my 2008 Accord and they fit with a little modification. The factory hole is perfect, but I had to drill two other wholes to screw them in. I did it my self. The speakers are being powered by a JL 300.4, which is perfect for these speakers and really makes them perform at their best.For what they are made for they are the best for the price. These are not designed to output bass. I have a separate sub woofer (JL W7) so I removed all bass and set the built in switch to 0dB so I can get all the sound I can out of these babies. For the front I have Polk Audio components over all the setup sounds nice. I listen to all types of music mostly reggaeton and they sound nice and clear. |
